Amoxycillin oral tablet comes in the form of immediate-release(IR), extended-release(ER). The chewable tablets and IR tablets are only available as a generic drug. The ER tablets are the only available as the brand-name drug Moxatag. Amoxicillin also comes as capsules and a suspension and all forms are taken by mouth.


Some common side effects of Amoxycillin are nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, rash, vaginal yeast infection. These side effects are gone away with time.

You need to consult your doctor if you see some serious side effects which include:-

Hypersensitivity reactions which include various symptoms are as follow:-

The dosage is based on your medical conditions. Forget good results, take this antibiotic at an evenly spaced time. To help you remember, always take this medicine at the same time each day of your course.

Continue to take this medicine until the full prescribed amount is ended even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medicine too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which might result in a relapse of the infection.


Nausea, diarrhea, or vomiting might occur. If any of these side effects are persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Remember that your doctor has prescribed this medication because he or she has judged that the advantages to you are greater instead of the risk of side effects. Some people do not experience any serious side effects after taking this medicine.
