It is a fast-acting and potent nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug(NSAID). Nimesulide is used to cure acute pain associated with Osteoarthritis and Menstruation. It is also used to treat mild to moderate pain happen due to sprains and strains of joints and muscles. Hence, it must not be given to children under the age of 12.

This medication is used to treat acute pain which means it is used to relieve pain and swelling of joints and muscle in adults.
It is used to treat Osteoarthritic pain which means it is used to relieve the symptomatic pain associated with Osteoarthritis in adults.
