Dicloxacillin is used to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It is a penicillin-type antibiotic and works by terminating the growth of bacteria. This antibiotic treats only bacterial infections but it will not work for viral infections such as the common cold and flu. Using any antibiotic when it is not needed can cause it to not work for any future infections.

Omeprazole is used to cure conditions caused by too much acid production in the stomach such sa:-

Gastroesophageal reflux disease(GRED)

Duodenal ulcers(duodenal ulcers occur in the first part of your small intestine which is connected to your stomach) or Gastric(stomach) ulcers.

Erosive esophagitis(acid-related damage to the esophagus, a tube that connects your mouth to your stomach)

Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome

Stomach infections are caused by Helicobacter pylori bacteria.

This medicine can be part of other medication which means you need to take it with other medicine.

Omeprazole belongs to the class of drugs called the proton pump inhibitors(PPIs). a class of drugs is a group of medications that works in the same way. These drugs are used only to treat similar conditions

Omeprazole works by decreasing the amount of acid your stomach produces in your body. This medicine does this by blocking a system in the cells of your stomach known as a proton pump. The proton pump works at the final step of caid production. when the proton pump is blocked, your stomach produces less acid. In this way, it can help decrease your symptoms.

Take this medicine by mouth usually 4 times a day means every 6 hours, or as prescribed by your doctor. It will be good to take dicloxacillin on an empty stomach 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal with a full glass of water. Drink plenty of water or fluid food while taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you otherwise.

The dosage is based on your medical conditions. Forget good results, take this antibiotic at an evenly spaced time. To help you remember, always take this medicine at the same time each day of your course.

Continue to take this medicine until the full recommended amount is finished even if symptoms disappear after a few days. Stopping the medicine too early may allow bacteria to continue to grow, which might result in a relapse of the infection.

Omeprazole does not cause drowsiness but it can cause other side effects. Common side effects are:-

Serious side effects

Low magnesium levels - using this medicine for three months or longer can cause low magnesium levels. Symptoms can be:-

Serve diarrhea - this may be caused by Clostridium difficile infection in your intestines. Symptoms can be:-

Fever that does not go away

Nausea

Stomach pain

Vomiting

Weight loss

Bone fractures

Kidney damage and symptoms can be:-

Flank pain(pain in your side and back)

Changes in urination

The cutaneous lupus erythematosus(CLE) and symptoms can be:-

Rash on the skin and nose

Raised, scaly, red, red, or purple rash on your body

The systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE) and symptoms can be:-

Fever

Weight loss

Tiredness

Blood clots

Heartburn

Fundic gland polyps (growth on the lining of your stomach that does not usually cause symptoms).

Nausea, diarrhea, or vomiting might occur. If any of these side effects are persist or worsen, tell your doctor or pharmacist immediately.

Before using this medicine, tell your doctor about all your medical history, especially related to kidney disease.

Dicloxacillin may cause live bacterial vaccines such as typhoid vaccine not to work as well. Do not have any vaccinations/immunizations while using this medication unless your doctor recommends you.

This medication should not be used only when it is clearly required during pregnancy.

Dicloxacillin passes into breast milk, so talk with your doctor before breastfeeding.

Get emergency help if you are experiencing signs of allergic reactions: hives, swelling of lips, face, tongue, or throat, and difficulty breathing. Call your doctor if you have:-

Nausea, vomiting

Diarrhea that is watery or bloody

Little or no urination

Unusual bleeding or bruising

A seizure

Mouth pain or irritation, sore throat, or black tongue

Fever, swollen glands, rash or itching, general ill feeling, or joint pain

Some common side effects are:-

Nausea, vomiting, heartburn, diarrhea

Blisters or ulcers in your mouth, trouble swallowing, or abnormal liver function tests, and red or swollen gums.
