Rabeprazole20 MG & Domperidone 10 MG (Alu Alu) (RABCAP-D)

Rabcap capsule is a medicine that reduces the excess amount of acid produced in your stomach. It is used for curing acid-related diseases of the stomach and intestine such as peptic ulcer diseases, reflux, and some other stomach conditions related to excessive acid production.

Domperidone(RABCAP-D) is a medicine that increases the movements or contradictions of the stomach and bowel. This medicine is used to cure problems like nausea and vomiting which are caused by other drugs used to treat Parkinson’s Disease. For the safety concern, this medication is not to be used by breast-feeding women to increase the production of breast milk.

Rabeprazole is used to treat various gastrointestinal(GI) conditions which includes:-

• Heartburn and other symptoms related to gastroesophageal reflux disease(GRED). It occurs when acid in your stomach backs up into the esophagus(the tube that connects the mouth to the stomach). This can cause a burning feeling in the chest or throat, burping, or a sore taste in the mouth.
• Duodenal ulcers(sores in the first part of the small intestine), including ulcers that are caused by the bacteria known as H.Pylori.
• Conditions that cause the stomach to make excess acid. These include a rare condition called Zollinger-Ellison syndrome.

Domperidone(RABCAP-D) works primarily by blocking dopamine receptors found in the upper end of the digestive system. This causes tightening of muscles at the exit of the stomach, relaxation of the muscles at the exit of the stomach, and increased contraction of the muscles in the stomach itself. These actions speed up the passage of food through the stomach into the intestine, which is physical helps prevent vomiting, and reduces feelings of sickness, bloating, and fullness. It also prevents food from flowing the wrong way through the stomach and so prevents reflux(regurgitation of stomach contents back into the food pipe).

Some common side effects of rabeprazole are not experiencing by everyone. But if the mild side effects occur they will go within few days or when your body used to it. If don’t go away then consult your doctor. Side effects are as follow:-

• Sore throat
• Headache
• Pain in the abdomen(stomach area)
• Gas
• Infection
• Constipation
• Diarrhea

Some side effects happen due to the low levels of magnesium which is a mineral. Symptoms are:-

• Irregular or fast heartbeat
• Seizures
• Dizziness
• Muscle weakness
• Jitteriness
• Tremors(jerking movements or shaking)
• Spasms of hands and feet
• Cramps or muscle aches

Serve diarrhea which is caused by infection with C. difficile. Symptoms are:-

• Stomach pain
• Fever
• Watery stool
• The cutaneous lupus erythematosus(CLE). Symptoms are:-
• Rash on skin and nose
• Raised, scaly, red, purple, or red rash, on your body

The systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE). Symptoms are:-

• Fever
• Weight loss
• Blood clots
• Tiredness
• Heartburn

Some side effects are not always experiencing by people. Side effects are associated with medicine which is as follow:-

• Dry mouth is the most common side effect of Domperidone(RABCAP-D). It can affect between 1 in 10 and 1 in 100 people who are taking domperidone(RABCAP-D).
• Uncommon side effects are
• Sleepiness
• Headache
• Anxiety
• Diarrhea
• Rash
• Itching
• Feeling weak
• Breast pain or tenderness
• Production of breast milk

The way to take this medicine is oral which means it can be taken by mouth.

• Store below 25 degree celsius
• Shelf lifetime is 3 years
