Telmisartan 40 MG & Amlodipine Besylate 5 MG (Alu Alu) (TELIN-A)

Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that expands blood vessels and improves blood flow. It is used to treat chest pain(angina) and other conditions which are caused by coronary artery disease.

• The effective point of Telmisartan is to treat high blood pressure(hypertension). Lowering high blood pressure helps in the prevention of strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems.
• Telmisartan is a part of a class of drugs called angiotensin receptor blockers(ARBs). It works by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow in a smooth way. This lowers blood pressure and increases the supply of oxygen and blood to the heart. 

• Amlodipine is used to lower blood pressure and it also can be used in combination or alone with other heart medications.
• It is also used to help blood flow smoothly to your heart when the arteries in your heart are blocked.
• Furthermore, it is used to treat coronary artery disease and angina(Chest pain)

Mostly the side effects do not need any kind of medical attention and vanish as your body adjusts to the medicine. You need to talk to your doctor if you have any of the following conditions:-

• Sinus infection
• Upper respiratory tract infection
• Back pain
• Diarrhea

Dizziness or lightheadedness may occur as your body adjusts to the medicine. If you feel the condition is worse, consult your doctor immediately.
